Acroprint Time Recorder Company

Providing Quality Time and Attendance Solutions Since 1969

Company History

Wilbur Robbins

Wilbur Robbins, a top-performing salesman at IBM and then Simplex, founded Acroprint in 1969 in Raleigh, NC. Robbins introduced a time recorder which would stir the market by offering the dealer community an alternative high-quality, low-cost product. The heavy-duty Model 125 quickly became known for its durability and its trademark green color.

Glenn Robbins

Robbins' son Glenn joined Acroprint after graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1973 and became company president in 1986, a position he still holds today. Glenn has led the family business through company expansions, new product development, and entrance into additional supply channels.

Today we manufacture and distribute worldwide a complete line of time recorders, document stamps, and time and attendance systems. We have a network of over 6,000 dealers and office supply outlets in the United States and over 70 other countries.

The company's distinctive green-colored punch clocks are widely recognized throughout the world. Our Model 125 and Model 150 clocks have appeared in movies, television shows, print publications and DreamWorks® animations and are still manufactured daily on-site at Acroprint headquarters.
